About Zurich Maratón de Sevilla

The Seville Marathon also known as Zurich Maratón de Sevilla, in true Andalucian party style, is preceded with two days of events beginning with the runners fair and a traditional pasta lunch at Palenque the day before the race. The Zurich Maratón de Sevilla promote the participation of both runners and their families and amateurs in the most crowded city sporting event. From the Zurich Marathon of Seville and Renfe want to make it as easy as possible so you can travel to the Andalusian capital and spend a few days you will never forget.

Equipment Storage

The Organisation will provide a baggage/cloakroom service. It will be located inside La Cartuja Stadium (Gate N) close to the North Tunnel and 800 m away from the starting line and 400 m away from the finishing line.

Maximum Time

The maximum time to complete the marathon is 6 hours, so the finishing line will be closed at 15.00.

Overview

The course, described as the flattest in Europe, starts and finishes in the Olympic Stadium, on La Cartuja Island. The route takes runners though the City Streets crossing the mighty Guadalquivir River on four separate points. Most of the course is on the south bank of the river sending runners weaving their way around the historic centre of the city.
