About Penang Bridge International Marathon

The Penang Bridge International Marathon or Penang Bridge Marathon is an annual marathon event held in Penang Bridge, Penang, Malaysia. It has been an anticipated run in Malaysia since its inception in 1985. The run is held annually on the Penang Bridge, the iconic bridge that connects the Malaysian Peninsular to the island of Penang. The marathon is well known for its fun, carnival-like atmosphere, showcasing the colors, sights and taste of Penang. The marathon is Penang's most anticipated sporting event and has the full support of the State Government of Penang.

We encourage you to park your vehicles at Queensbay Mall Multi-Storey Car Park where parking bays are available at a reasonable rate but up to maximum capacity only.

Penang Bridge International Marathon Trivia

For the first time in 2014, the Penang Bridge International Marathon has moved to the new locations, the Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Bridge (Penang Second Bridge) on 16 November 2014. The event was the longest bridge marathon in the world. Asics is the title sponsor for this event.
