Maratón de Santa Cruz de Tenerife Naviera Armas

The Santa Cruz de Tenerife Marathon is an annual event that takes place in the capital city of Tenerife in the Canary Islands. The event began in 2003 and is organized by the Tenerife City Council and the Tenerife Athletics Federation. The marathon is an International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) certified event and is part of the IAAF Road Race Label Events. The event has grown in popularity over the years and now attracts thousands of participants from around the world.  The marathon includes 42.195 km full marathon, 21.097 km half marathon, and 8 km races. The route takes runners through the historic streets of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and along the stunning coastlines of the city. The event also features a 5 km fun run for those who are not looking for a full marathon experience.  The marathon is a celebration of Tenerife’s culture and heritage, with traditional music and entertainment at the start and finish lines. The event is also a great opportunity to support local charities and organizations, as a portion of the proceeds are donated each year.
