Join Grand Bahama X-treme 13.2 Intracoastal Challenge

A half marathon with an extreme twist testing the limits of athletes by taking runners across a unique course blending sand dunes, bridges and intracoastal streets with the beautiful beaches of the Atlantic Ocean as a back drop.

Athletes will be treated to a carb loading pre dinner the night before at the host hotel's ballroom and unwinding at one of the most beautiful beaches the Bahamas has to offer where they can soak and rejuvenate immediately after their run.

In addition to all the natural beauty and unique experience this atmosphere promises prize money for the top male and female finishers is a welcomed bonus incentive for participants.

Course Highlights

Starting at Pirates Cove (Western End of Taino Beach)
Running East towards fish fry
Exit the beach opposite Taino Beach's exit
Head left and over the bridge
Turn left on Midshipman road all the way to Seahorse Road
Left on Seahorse Road towards Port Lucaya
At the curve beyond Wendy's turn right on to Royal Palm Way (Old Millionaire's Row)
Head West beyond Silver Sands
Loop around to the Western End of Coral Beach
Head East on Coral Beach all the way to The Path at the beginning of Millionaire Row
Head up Path on to Seahorse Road
Turn Right towards Port Lucaya all the way to Pelican Bay(The host Hotel) and Loop back towards Seahorse Road
Turn right on to Seahorse Road
Turn right on to Midshipman Road all the Way to Taino Beach Corner (West Beach Road)
Over the bridge and left towards Dolphin encounter
Loop around Smith's Point
Enter Beach near fish fry
Head West towards Pirates Cove
At the end of the beach turn right and end at Pirates Cove's Parking lot area.
