The 24 km Main race “runs” the greatest part of the marked Hiking Routes - Andros Route and part of the 100km Certified Route, passing through Routes No5 from Korthi Bay (Ormos Korthiou) to Exo Vouni, No1 from Monastery of Panachrantos, meeting No18 till the intersection of No5 to Exo Vouni and finally No3 from Dipotamata to Korthi Bay.The 10 km Small race “runs” its greater length on routes cleaned and marked with the responsibility of the Andros Trail Race organization. The first kilometers follow the asphalt and dirt road from Korthi Bay to Kato Khones and then a trail and a "steni" (narrow trail) through Alamania village, to the chapel of Prophet Elias, passing by the Tavlomylos (a unique mill found only in Andros) and the windmills to the bridge and the Watermill of Episkopio village. The race continues through Episkopio, cement road, crosses the asphalt road to Lardia village and finally follows the last kilometers of Hiking Route No5.
The 10 km Small race
To connect these paths, the overall race route passes through the area of Mesa Vouni to the Monastery of Panachrantos on a “steni”(narrow) trail, dirt road and asphalt, while Hiking Route No5 is connected to No3 through paths and asphalt. The cleaning and marking is a responsibility of the Andros Trail Race organization.

Practicalities
Accommodation
The organizing team provides athletes 25% discount to hotels and restaurants. Book the hotel of your preference by giving the ID Number received by the registration.
Award Medals
A commemorative medal will be given to every participating athlete. Hand Made Prizes from local artists, will be awarded to the first three men and first three women crossing the finishing line of each race. Awards will also be given to the first men and woman originating from Andros Island finishing the 24 km Great Race.
Provided Photo Service
Professional photographers will be placed along every route, taking your photographs. The photographs will be available online, 7 days after the race. The first 200 athletes will receive one of their own photographs at the start or finishing line.
Refreshments
Refreshment stations will be placed along every route providing athletes with: water, refreshments, salt sticks, fruit, biscuits and local products. Volunteers with First Aid knowledge and First aid kits will also be available at every station.
Timing
Andros Trail Race will electronically be timed. The advanced RFID systems used for the time recordings comply with all European radiation standards.
