Join Raiffeisen Bank Bucharest Marathon
The Raiffeisen Bank Bucharest Marathon is an annual marathon and sports event hosted by the city of Bucharest, Romania, since 2008. It is usually held at the beginning of October. Asociatia Bucharest Running Club, in cooperation with the Romanian Athletic Federation, organizes the event. The event consists of Marathon, Marathon Relay, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K races. The course is certified by AIMS and IAAF.
The time limit for the Half Marathon is 3h while for the Marathon is 6h. Bucharest The event usually gathers over 25 000 participants from over 50 countries. The finish is in front of the Parliament Palace (former Ceausescu Palace) - the biggest building in Europe and the second biggest in the world.

Each runner who finishes the race within the time limit will receive a unique medal.

A changing tent will be set up near Sport Expo, providing runners with a place to change clothes before and after the race. Deposit bags can be left off at the changing tent before the start and picked up after race finish, based on the BIB number.
