Join VIRTUAL BEIJING RUN

The legendary virtual travels Dream Running Series is back!

In 2021 we will have 12 running stages dedicated to various cities of the world.

This time you will get to immerse in the culture and traditions of each country even more. Within each stage we will introduce you to the history, culture, cuisine, music and architecture of each country and city. The conditions remain the same ― 10 km and 21 km, incredibly beautiful medals and your fantastic emotions at the finish line.

No matter where you are – in Kyiv, Berlin, Tokyo or Florida – you can join your running pals, run your distance and discover something new.

Let’s #runthedream!

The first stop of our around-the-world Dream Running Series is Beijing. Our online Beijing Run, which is to take place on February 6-7, 2021, will be dedicated to the capital of China!

Imagine a city with a population twice the population of our country. A city that combines imperial palaces with glass skyscrapers, gray typical Soviet-style houses with futuristic buildings of bizarre shape. The city where one of the most ancient civilizations of the world, which is more than 3000 years old, meets modern technologies and artificial intelligence and the two are synthesized into a single unit. All this is about Beijing.

Running through this city, albeit virtually, and immersing yourself in its atmosphere is the best idea for the weekend of February 6-7, because it is February when the Chinese New Year is celebrated.

If our Beijing Run were live, we would probably meet in the Race Village on Tiananmen Square, hear the starting shot and run towards the Forbidden City, the largest palace complex in the world. We would then run along the paths of Jingshan and Beihai Parks, and then return to the Beijing National Grand Theatre, which is built in the shape of an ellipsoidal dome made of glass and titanium and surrounded by an artificial lake. This would let you feel all the multiculturalism of modern Beijing.

If you choose a half marathon distance, imagine yourself running down the Great Wall of China since it is 21 km long.

If you still haven’t registered for the Beijing Run, here is a recipe for you: choose your distance, register, run the Beijing Run, wherever you are, reward yourself with a medal at the finish line, go to a teahouse and warm yourself up with a cup of hot tea, watch one of the movies by Wong Kar-Wai in the evening ― this will definitely be a virtual trip to remember!

How it works:

choose your distance ― 10 km or 21 km;
receive your start pack which already includes your medal;
go for a run on the specified date and run your distance;
put a medal on upon crossing your finish line and take a selfie;
capture your race results and email them to [email protected]
specifying your race number (you will be assigned a number upon registration), t
he subject line must contain the race title and your distance, for example. “Dream Running Series result, city and distance”.
