At this time when many races were canceled,
Banja Luka Half Marathon (largest B i H, Bosnian running event) decided to meet the needs of many hard-working runners who are still training, but whose races were canceled. We know that the Virtual Race isnot the same as the race at a running event, but here's how all runners
can get the extra motivation to keep running. This way you can stay fit and in touch with the running and racing community. 

The City of Banja Luka is an undiscovered jewel in the heart of Balkans. Its long green alleys, the surrounding greenery, the river Vrbas with its unique vivid green colour, along with the medieval fortress in the city centre pleasantly surprise anyone who comes to Banja Luka for the first time. Banja Luka Half-marathon is a race that will take you through all of these beauties, and bind you to this place for the times to come. By participating in our half-marathon, you will become a part of an unforgettable story, the story about one city and the people who came to meet here and make friendship ties that will last for the rest of their lives.

COVID-19 TIMES

As we promote running and all the benefits of running from the mental to
the physical, we advise you to stay healthy. While doing so, in these "Corona" times, here are some of our guidelines:

- Follow local regulations and recommendations and tailor your running to them
- When running try to run alone or keep a safe social distance from others running with or around you
- Run in places where there are no or few people around
- Bring water or an isotonic drink with you and leave them in a safe place while running
- After you're done running, don't hang around but go straight home
